 READ is a mailing listserv created by an author and several readers who wanted a place where readers and published novelists can discuss Romance novels. The purpose of this list is just that--to talk about books. It is not a place to trash authors or books, though open discussion is encouraged. Diplomacy has its place, even today. We don't all enjoy the same books, though often we do. Let's share and network, and keep authors in touch with their readers, and provide a venue where readers can talk to their favorite authors, and possibly ask those burning questions. Ah, if only Margaret Mitchell were still alive.... < g>
